What documents are required for a US visit visa from Pakistan?
At the interview you must have your valid passport, DS-160 confirmation page, fee receipt and appointment letter. The US Consulate has no fixed list of supporting documents, so bring what proves your job or business, finances, family ties and trip purpose.
How much is the USA visa price in Pakistan?
It depends on the visa type you need (b2 tourist visa, b1 business visa or b2 medical treatment) and on your documents, so we quote each file for free on WhatsApp before you pay anything. Any government or embassy fee is separate; your adviser confirms the current amount before you pay.
How much is the US visitor visa fee?
The US mission sets the B1/B2 MRV application fee and the receipt stays valid for 365 days for scheduling. A separate Visa Integrity Fee was enacted in 2025 and is charged when a visa is issued, once collection starts. Both change with the exchange rate, so ask an adviser for today's amount in rupees.
Is an interview compulsory?
Since 11 August 2025 nearly all nonimmigrant applicants in Pakistan need an in-person interview. Renewal applicants may qualify for a waiver under specific conditions.
Who can skip the interview?
B1/B2 applicants renewing within 12 months of their previous visa's expiry, if that full-validity visa was issued when they were at least 18. The consulate can still ask for an interview.
Can I get an urgent US visa appointment?
If you have an unforeseen urgent need, such as a medical emergency, you can request an expedited appointment through the official scheduling website. It is approved only if strict criteria are met.
What bank balance do I need?
There is no official minimum. The officer looks at whether your finances match your trip and your life in Pakistan.
What is administrative processing?
Some applications need extra checks after the interview. Most are resolved within 60 days; the consulate advises waiting at least 90 days before asking about the status.
Do I need a hotel or flight booking?
They are not required to apply. A simple trip plan is enough; avoid buying tickets before the visa is issued.
Can I visit my relatives in the US on a B2 visa?
Yes. An invitation from your relative and a copy of their US status document can help explain your visit.
Can I work in the US on a B1/B2 visa?
No. B1 allows business activities such as meetings and conferences, but not employment.
How long does the fee receipt stay valid?
365 days from the date it is issued. You must schedule your interview (or submit a waiver) within that time.
Where do I pay and book?
Only through the official scheduling system used by the US Embassy in Pakistan. Never pay anyone who claims to sell appointment slots.
