How to prepare the common documents
Passport
Check validity (many countries need 6 months beyond your trip; Schengen needs 3 months after departure and a passport issued within 10 years) and blank pages. Keep old passports with previous visas.
CNIC & FRC
Copy of your CNIC and a NADRA Family Registration Certificate in English. The EU's official list for Pakistan asks every Schengen applicant for the FRC.
Bank statement
Usually the last 6 months, signed and stamped by the bank. Avoid unexplained large deposits just before printing; officers look for where money came from.
Tax records
NTN certificate and FBR acknowledgement of income tax returns (Schengen asks for the last 2 fiscal years).
Job or business proof
Employer leave letter with position, salary and leave dates plus 3 payslips; company registration for business owners; NOC for government employees; pension statements for retirees.
Travel plan & bookings
Genuine flight reservation and accommodation where required (Schengen, Thailand). The UK says paid bookings are not needed.
Insurance
Schengen requires at least €30,000 medical cover for the whole trip.
Translations & attestation
The UK needs certified English translations; China asks for MOFA-attested police and relationship documents in some cases.

What documents are required for a visit visa from Pakistan?
Most embassies ask for a valid passport, photos, CNIC copy, NADRA FRC, 6-month bank statement, proof of job or business (employer letter, payslips or company registration), tax records, and trip details. Each country adds its own items; open your country's list above.
Which bank statement is accepted for a visa?
A statement for the last 6 months showing account activity, signed and stamped by your bank, is the most common requirement (for example on the EU's Schengen list for Pakistan).
Is the FRC required for visas?
It is required on the EU's official Schengen list for Pakistan and commonly requested by other embassies for family and relationship proof.
Do I need a hotel and flight booking?
Schengen and Thailand ask for reservations; the UK advises against paying for bookings before a decision. Always use genuine bookings.
Do I need my documents attested?
Some countries require it. China, for example, asks first-time visitors for a MOFA-attested police certificate. We handle MOFA, HEC and IBCC attestation.
