Baggage, ID and check-in basics
What most first-time and family travellers ask us.
Baggage depends on the fare
The same airline can sell fares with and without checked bags. Low-cost airlines (Fly Jinnah, Air Arabia, flynas, SalamAir) usually charge for checked baggage. We state the allowance with every quote.
Name must match your ID
The name on the ticket must match your CNIC (domestic) or passport (international) exactly. Name changes after issue can cost a fee or a new ticket.
Visa before ticket
For international trips, your visa or e-Visa should be approved before we issue a non-refundable ticket. For visa files, use a flight reservation instead.
Check-in and FIA immigration
Reach the airport about 3 hours before an international flight. FIA immigration may ask visit-visa passengers for their return ticket and hotel booking.

Air Tickets: FAQs
What ID do I need for a domestic flight in Pakistan?
Adults need their original valid CNIC or passport; children travel with a B-form or juvenile card. Expired CNICs are not accepted.
What documents do I need to fly abroad on a visit visa?
A valid passport, the visa or travel authorisation for your destination, and your return ticket. Carry your hotel booking as immigration may ask for it.
Can you book tickets for Umrah?
Yes, as part of our Umrah packages or as tickets only.
How do I pay for tickets?
Payment is arranged directly with our adviser on call or WhatsApp when you confirm the fare.
Which airlines can I book through Travel Visa Pk?
Pakistani airlines (PIA, Airblue, AirSial, Fly Jinnah, SereneAir), Gulf and Saudi airlines (Emirates, flydubai, Etihad, Air Arabia, Qatar Airways, Saudia, flynas, Gulf Air, Oman Air, SalamAir, Kuwait Airways) and international airlines such as Turkish Airlines and China Southern.
Do you publish ticket prices?
No. Air fares change several times a day, so any price on a web page would be out of date. Send your route and dates on WhatsApp for current fares.
Can you book a ticket from Lahore, Karachi or Peshawar?
Yes. Our office is in Islamabad, but we book flights departing from any Pakistani airport and send the e-ticket on WhatsApp.
Should I buy my ticket before my visa is approved?
For most visas, no. Use a flight reservation for the visa file and buy the ticket once the visa is approved, unless the embassy specifically asks for a paid ticket.
